Things we've been up to lately

We went to St. George over Thanksgiving with Adam's family. It was so much fun to spend time with so many Dayton cousins. While we were there we had pictures taken.

Sam's actual birthday...finally.

I know...it's an awesome cake.

So we were watching Holly's kids the other night and Avery spilled her shake and then slipped on it. Her mouth landed on the corner of our table and she bit all the way through her bottom lip. About 5 minutes later, Chloe fell and cut her chin open. Neither one of them needed stitches. When Brodie got there he put some medical tape on their injuries and they both seem to be fine.

Life has been a little CRAZY!!!

Sorry about this post. Life has been a little crazy around our house and I know that I haven't blogged for a while, but I just haven't been able to find the time. I found a little bit of time today, so here are a bunch of pictures of what we have been doing lately.

Will is finally enjoying baby food. Carrots are his favorite!

We celebrated Sam's 11th birthday a little early this year. Her actual birthday is not until December 3rd, but she really wanted to go see High School Musical 3 and we didn't want to wait clear until December, so we moved it up a month. That makes life easier for me in December.

Here they all are. A few of them switched around their costumes depending of which Halloween event we were attending.

We had a yummy Halloween dinner at my parents house before we all went trick-or-treating. Here are all of the California cousins. It's getting crazy.

This is the second of 3 Halloween costumes for Laney this year. She was a flamingo for her pre-school program.

Samantha and Hadley had an Activity Days recognition night where they got to display projects that they had been working on. Samantha made 25 handmade invitations for the Middle School party at the beginning of the school year. She did an awesome job.

Hadley spent time babysitting Sarah's boys and teaching them. She really does a great job with them and they really love her.

Quite the personality

Laney went to a birthday party today at Build A Bear. When I went to pick her up, the animals were still in their boxes, so I couldn't see what Laney had created yet. My friend's husband told me that he had to see my face when I saw Laney's animal before I left, so I took it out of the box and this is what I found...the scariest creation I have ever seen. If you look closely, the cat actually has pumpkins on it and the outfit has skulls and crossbones on it. I laughed so hard that I had tears. This is a direct reflection of Laney's crazy personality that has recently come about.

We went to the pumpkin patch on Monday night with a bunch of friends. It was lots of fun. Funny Laney!

This is a funny picture because I look like a "mother hen" with all my little "chicks". I don't know why Adam is sitting on the ground, but it looks like we have more kids than we actually do.

Thank goodness for boy cousins

Luckily for Will, he had a lot of boy cousins born around the same time as him. These are the four boys from the Warnick side. Max (Sarah's baby) is the oldest, then Will, then Trevor (Holly's baby), and then Scotty (Rob's baby). They all live right near us, so Will might have a chance after all.

So, when I was holding Will earlier today, he was sucking on my finger like he usually does and I felt something hard. I thought maybe he had something in his mouth, but as I started feeling around, I realized that it is a tooth. He is only 5 and a half months old so I didn't expect teeth already. I know that you can't see it yet, but it's there. Glad I'm not nursing anymore!

Chloe's Birthday

Chloe turned 5 last week. She is so grown up now. She is learning how to read and loves it. She also loves soccer, singing and writing/drawing. We are so proud of her.

POOR WILL!!! Laney kept trying to put Will's "princess dress" on so that he could look like his big sisters. I'm worried for this poor little guy.

Will is now 5 and a half months old. We just moved him into his own room and he is finally sleeping through the night. Naps are questionable, but that's mainly because we are never home for more than an hour at a time! It's interesting how I can totally tell a difference between my girls and Will, even at such a young age. I'm loving the boy clothes for a change and am just really enjoying this baby.

I guess I'm a blogger!!!

So last night I was checking my email before I went to bed and noticed that my sister Sarah had sent me an email. The subject was "YOUR BLOG". I actually freaked out a little bit. Then I went to view it and loved it...so now I guess I'm a blogger. Hopefully Sarah can keep up with my blog and her blog. I fought this for so long, but I guess that Sarah finally pushed me over the edge. It is a great way to stay connected with family and friends and I look forward to that.
